1. Introduction
Welcome to Manhattan Fine Wines (we, our, or us). By accessing or purchasing from our website or retail store, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you must not use our site or services.
2. Legal Compliance & Age Restriction
We do not sell or serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 21. By placing an order, you affirm that you are at least 21 years of age and can provide valid government-issued photo identification upon delivery or pickup. All deliveries require an adult signature from someone 21 or older. We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or verify age before completing a transaction. Please drink responsibly.
3. License Information
Manhattan Fine Wines Inc. operates under a California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control Off-Sale General License.
4. Sales & Service Area
We sell and ship within California and to certain other states where direct-to-consumer wine and spirits sales are permitted. It is your responsibility to know and comply with your state and local laws regarding alcohol purchases. We reserve the right to refuse orders that violate applicable laws.
5. Shipping & Delivery
All alcohol shipments are sent via UPS and require an adult signature upon delivery. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. We offer in-store pickup at our Manhattan Beach, CA location. During extreme weather conditions, we may hold shipments (weather holds) to prevent damage unless the customer requests otherwise. Shipping costs and any applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.
6. Returns & Refunds
All alcohol sales are final. We only accept returns or issue refunds for products that are defective, damaged in shipping, or delivered in error. Claims must be made within 7 days of delivery, and photographic proof of the damage or issue may be required. 7. Order Changes & Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before shipment by contacting us directly. Once shipped, orders cannot be changed or cancelled.
8. Payment & Pricing
We accept major credit cards via Square for online transactions. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. Sales tax is charged on all in-store purchases and on California orders shipped within the state, based on destination-based tax rates.
9. Product Descriptions
We strive for accuracy in product descriptions, vintage, and pricing, but errors may occur. If an error is discovered, we will contact you before fulfilling your order.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Manhattan Fine Wines shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our site or purchase of our products.
